Arrangement for Scattering of Cremated ashes in Hong Kong waters For people of the Hindu and Sikh Faiths on the same day

Director of Food and Environmental Hygiene Department, at our request, has agreed to issue permit for scattering of cremated ashes in Hong Kong waters for people of the Hindu and Sikh Faiths, to be disposed of on the same day at sea as per Hindu and Sikh Faith.

To implement the special arrangement for handling the application from Hindu and Sikh Communities, The Hindu Association Hong Kong ia authorized to issue a letter/ document to the applicant with valid chop stamp for certifying his/her Hindu and Sikh identities and specifying such letter/ document is in connection with the application for Sea Ashes Scattering purpose (Format Enclosed).

The applicant can submit the application together with the required documents and supporting documents from The Hindu Association Hong Kong, to Cemeteries and Crematoria Offices at either 1J Wong Nai Chung Road, Happy Valley or Upper Ground Floor, 6 Cheong Hang Road, Hung Hom.
